2 Red ones or 1 Epic?

But let's wait to see what the exact differences betwenn Epic and Red One are.
If the major changes are only Resolution and framerate, then I'd definitely get 2 Red Ones... The Red One sensor being upgradable.

Well, actually, for the same price you'd get 2 Red Ones AND 2 Scarlets! :biggrin:

That is why in the poll, I included two Scarlets. I thought if I had Scarlet in the subject people would not like it since ScarletUser.com is for Scarlet.

I don't really like ScarletUser.com because it seems like no one is on it.

I guess that's true...a lot of people are probably burned out on specualation.

There is so much more you can do with multiple cameras on a shoot. It moves your production so much faster. I would argue that if anyone is shooting with the epic, they will definitely have more then one of them on set or they are using the wrong tool.

2 Reds > 1 Epic

4 scarlets > 1 Red (depending on your crew)

I would probably wait to find out the details about RED ONE's sensor upgrade next year, and then make my decision based on that. Tough call, though.
