Hi all,

I thought this would be the best place to post this, since it's not Red. I plan to buy a Scarlet the minute they come out, but in the meantime I am still shooting. I wanted to get some feedback on a test that I did. I was going for a rich film-like look, day and night shots. Here is the link:

Thoughts, suggestions, tips?

Hi Kyle,

Some really great shots mixed in there. Watch out for the blown highlights, muddied shadows and long sequences of blur. You can tell by the great shots that those aren't due to limitations of your gear. You may have to work harder to stay away from the edges but its' clear you know how. Also, I know this is just test footage but try to avoid mixing "looks" without a good and reasonable transition or explanation. This is just feedback though and my opinion, not criticism. Excellent work.

I agree with shooter. ESPECIALLY about the highlights. Dead giveaway every time. You just can't let them blow out like that. I love the kitten shots. Very nice.
