Besides the anticipation for RED related announcements (feel like a kid again).
I'm looking for
- decently priced ff for cine lenses () maybe look at the Petroff ?
- mattebox with 2 or three filter trays and will cover the needed range from wide to tele lenses, decently priced, dimensions on the RED zoom will help in knowing what size filters I'll need (wouldn't mind getting away with a lightweight version for handheld too)
- hope to there's a $ reduction in the Oconnor Hd1030 tripod, but probably fanciful notion...
- a powerful NLE that is interopable with RED that will work in concert with a cc like Speedgrade HD
SpeedGrade HD
Real-time color grading, conform, and more for QuickTime and AVI video formats at HD resolution SpeedGrade comes to Mac OS X! SpeedGrade HD features an optimized user interface and can import and export EDLs from Final Cut Pro and standard EDL formats. SpeedGrade HD provides primary and secondary color grading, powerful mask tools, pan & scan and more at a price point around $10,000. (Mac OS X, Windows XP) although $10K is a bit pricey.
Wish I could be at NAB, but I guess i'll have to settle for keyboard research.
What are you looking for at NAB?
:-)
