Say, seeing the MacDaddy brought a question to mind... What does everyone think of a 6-10 foot Snake Cable (or longer for certain situations) that could plug into all of the Red's connectors on the Camera, and then extend them the required distance (to the ground or nearby out of the way place) and from there, they would be able to be barreled to each go their separate directions on set?
It would probably have to be a customized wrapped cable, but might be a good third party product. Would definitely save from having to use a lot of Velcro ties, etc. Just an idea...
