DEAD PIXELS 2 grey blotches

My camera shipped with 2 dead grey patches that get brighter as the asa/iso increases. They fluctuate slightly, do not have any color to them, just grey. At 320 they are just barely there, at 500 very noticeable, a 2000 bright as day along with vertical bands/lines. The camera 1st shipped with this condition, then I lost a week for it to go to service, just got it back, nothing changed. So now I get to go through the whole service shipping thing again. This is two times they have had the camera, and shipped it with problems, from here on I would be ranting displeasure... I also tried black shading...

Please try sending it back again.

For once and for all I would like to know what cause this.

If you don't send it back they can't fix it.

We had the same issue and they have been very helpful.

Red is good at sending me shipping labels, and they do respond fast, but repeated fixes of something that should have been fixed before initial shipping is frustrating. It has my friends questioning my decision to get a Red so early. Looking forward to being able to set travel dates, with improved reliability and range of features

This thing is so small that it could slip QC very easy.

I know it frustrating, we have been there. It happened to us too.

Remember this is a work in progress, but I wouldn't want to wait 3 mores year to get a perfect camera.

I would still want it even if only one button was working. The record button.
