Anyone ever use these? What weight do they have? Are they any good, Arri no longer seems to make them.

They are fantastic lenses. Kind of heavy, weigh more than a prime of course. All around great lenses.

Just used the VP's two nights ago on a music video with the RED. They were very popular lenses 6 or 7 years ago. They are extremely heavy. Maybe more than the RED body. They are large, and it's hard to get the follow focus under them, also rod lengths and support positions are different on lens changes, so it takes a while when swinging lenses.

As far as quality - very good. They breathe a bit, so that's annoying. It's like having a box of primes, but don't expect handholding them.

I'd pass on owning them. I think they don't fit into the current on set workflow of primes and zooms. They're their own genre of glass, and that genre didn't prove to be viable - hence they're not being made anymore.
