Hey guys,

Got a quick q regarding crop on the Raven. I'm pretty used to shooting on Dragon using EF Mount lenses and I was wondering what the difference with the Raven will be.

http://www.red.com/tools/crop-factor

On this tool I can compare FoV; to get a realistic view should I get a reference frame of the Dragon FF and a frame size of RED Dragon at 4.5K? The reason I'm asking is because the crop factor displayed says 1.33x while it should be 1.87x (which I can get roughly close to if I select Dragon 3.5K HD.

Which one is the correct FoV? RED Dragon at 4.5K (1.33x) or 3.5K (1.8x)

Best,
P

To see the right crop factor, set ref to "35mm Stills Frame"
And set "frame size in red" to "RED Dragon at 4.5K WS" - which you'll see is a 1.73x crop.

Bear in mind, the 4.5K is for WS only. For HD, Raven is 4KHD.
