well, fact is: red team is doing a great job and they are really fast.

it would be so great to have the camera here until mid july where we have placed a wonderful project... hope to be able to shoot it with red...

i am pressing the thumbs. i can´t pay now, because i need some advice for the final order from my rep after i get the first email and so i don´t know my final payment amount.

i don´t want to ask them now, i think they have enough work to deliver the last 1750-2000 cams. so patience is still my friend...

Each reservation holder will get an email from RED approximately two weeks before their camera is ready for delivery.


the 17th of june, isn't this 2 weeks before the camera's start shipping?

I had been in contact with someone from RED previously and asked for the name of my coming rep. He then send me an e-mail and together we were able to finalize the order and he sent me the wiretransfer information. Simple, really.

If you're referring to my post then you've misunderstood. My camera is not on its way. It's in line like everyone else's - I just paid in advance. Anyone can do that if they want.

How is this for a bone? We are REALLY close to releasing our My Account section on RED.com that will allow you to update you order online instead of emailing a BOMB SQUAD rep. Makes life easier for everyone involved and we hope to have this implemented before the next blast goes out to the next delivery group.

Oh, and Big Jon's Delivery sticky stills applies. No news is good news, guys. Remember, we are aiming to exceed expectations... And the next delivery batch should have more information in the next week or so.

MY ACCOUNT seems a really great feature.
For sure will help a lot everyone, both RED team (less hassle from nervous resholders like us) and resholders (making them less nervous).
I remember that when i made my first deposit i felt quite nervous not having a sort of "my account" page stating my deposit was officially received.

50-150mm still backordered.

hope they will beat it and ramp up soon the backordered stuff.

when you are sure about your final order red will inform you about the total including shipping cost. don´t know it´s different from customer to customer?

but now it´s the same you wait for the email to finalize, we have weekend and email should go out monday (brent talked about end of month, so monday is last day of june)
