Hello, RED Users! Just wanted to let you all know that my first feature film, CASI CASI (http://www.casicasi.com), will be available on DVD from HBO Video beginning May 15th. It was shot with a very small crew using a DVX100 camera, and has been making a splash in a bunch of film festivals last year.

The DVD will have a feature-length audio commentary (which we recorded at HBO's studio in a very cool session!) as well as a making-of featurette. All you indie filmmakers will get a kick out of this movie, as well as the behind the scenes feature and the commentary. For more info, check out the official website: www.casicasi.com (http://www.casicasi.com). The DVD will be available at major stores, as well as online through the usual retailers (Amazon, Walmart, Borders, etc.) You'll also be able to catch it on HBO television beginning in October, but you'll want to see the DVD because of all the making-of stuff.

Thanks for your support. I'm looking forward to shooting our next film with a RED ONE! :)

Thanks for the kind wishes, guys!

Well, the movie is now available for pre-order through our website:

www.casicasi.com (http://www.casicasi.com)

If you use the link on our website , you will be directed to the page on Amazon with our movie for sale. By using that specific link, we get an extra comission from Amazon, and you get their very low price (currently only $13.99!), so everybody wins!

Also, I should add that you can put it on your Netflix (http://www.netflix.com/Movie/Casi_Casi/70065734?trkid=189530&strkid=376182380_7_0) or Blockbuster (http://www.blockbuster.com/catalog/movieDetails/283079) cues! I'm sure you'll all get a kick out of it. Thanks for your continued support!

I hope to see a lot more of this in the next year from many of the other talented people on here as they get their RED's to work.

Congrats! It's funny, a couple days ago I saw "Casi Casi" advertised on Netflix I'm pretty sure (most likely a recommended movie). I knew it sounded familiar, but I couldn't remember why I had heard about it. Now it all makes sense! I just added it to my queue. Congrats again!

Hey, all! Just wanted to let y'all know that Casi Casi is now playing on HBO On Demand! All through October, you can catch it for free, whenever you feel like it, and it's widescreen and it'll have English subtitles.

Also, it'll play on HBO Latino (without subtitles) and HBO Signature in the coming weeks. For the full schedule, click here (http://www.hbo.com/apps/schedule/ScheduleServlet?ACTION_DETAIL=DETAIL&FOCUS_ID=628818).

Let me know what you think! And go easy on me, it's my first movie.

Congrats man. I saw the trailer and I can't wait to check it out. It's always great to hear of success stories from "grass roots" filmmakers. Way to go!

Congrats Jaime. I have a copy that I thought I bought on Amazon a long time ago. Is this one different? I haven't watched it yet, so I might have to watch it on demand as well. I think I packed it for my move, but I'll have have to watch it when i unpack.

Congrats again,

Jason

If you have the DVD, it's the same thing. The only difference is that the end credits on the DVD are in Spanish, and the version on On Demand has end credits in English. Thanks for all the kind words, everyone!
