Ted Schlowitz has confirmed that he will indeed be at Broadcast Asia on June 17 Tuesday . Please come to Hall 8 for Ted's presentation on "Red One operation, function and workflow". That will be at 2 pm. Simply look for the large round red Red logo. The booth is small, but it will be fun to meet with Ted as well as Red owners and Red dreamers.
Ted will also be at the Apple World Tour presentation in Singapore, Wed. June 18 afternoon 2-5 pm. Another reason to go to the Apple presentation at Raffles City Convention Center, Level 4, Olivia room. However, be informed that you must pre-register to attend. Go to Apple.com , world tour, Singapore, etc. Good luck.
Our Red One camera will not be at the booth, as it is currently doing Asia's first Red One 4K feature film "Hooperz" in Malaysia, transfer to 35 mm film will be done in Bangkok. It is indeed fortunate that Ted generously volunteered his own Red One camera during the presentation. - i guess he has a few! Thanks Ted!
See you all soon,

NO,that is wrong. 90% of all production companies in Asia use American Companies products. Because we have the technology to invent, refine and to reinvent anything. WE went to the moon because of this. some people only have the capacity to produce things in mass quantity and copy other peoples work.

Ehemm...it's ok that you dont want to go. Just dont think the extra comments like whom you want to meet instead is necessary.
Anyway, already in S'pore. Will be at BA for sure.

Hi Stuart,
I was just at the NHK Open house in Tokyo for a week supporting the BBC who have signed a collaborative document with NHK to develop Super Hi-vision technology.
NHK expressed very positive support for the Dirac Open Technology Codec which had compressed an 8K x 4K @ 60 Fps showreel into 128 Mbps. This was demonstrated using an Astro design Downconverter and 4K x 2K LCD display. NHK will now jointly develop Dirac with the BBC for the super Hi-Vision system.
Information on the Dirac Open Technology Codec is available on http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/index.shtml
Best Regards,
Peter
