"We are currently working with prototypes "Boris" and "Natasha". RED #1 has not been produced yet.

I expect that serial #1 will be assembled around April 12th.

Jim"

Please share with us the good news as we know Boris and Natascha are expecting.

Don't mess with a parent in labor. Boris is probably getting the riot act right now.

Emanuel, how do you know that it isn't just Boris fully armed?

The camera you see all dressed for battle is not RED ONE #1 - it is a prototype [AFAIK]. Jim mentioned a modification to the smart side of the camera, so they aren't showing the other side of the most recent camera. I assumed this was because showing the old design [present on the pictured camera] would be useless if it's going to change, but I'm just making assumptions. I just feel like they would've told us if that really was RED ONE #1.

Only a few more days to know for sure...

that photo is so dark you can't even see the camera, just the ports on the side, the lcd and the arri mattebox.

its crazy how people are all over this photo when is shows nothing apart from shadows.

The idea is wonderful and marks the first built camera.
Imagination is all we have until Monday.
