Hi,

Other than DPX, what output options are people using from REDCINE for online conform into Avid (in my case, DS).
The issue I'm most interested in keeping some sort of timecode. eg If I use Tiffs then they will not link back to my EDL. Is DPX my only option in this case?
Thanks,
Dec

Try a small quicktime test - I believe DS might read the timecode that is embedded.

Hi Michael, do you mean exporting one quicktime for the whole sequence or will REDCINE export one quicktime per clip?

Recine can export 1 QT per clips is set up that way. Try #C in the output file name.

as in C.mov?
I exported quicktimes, using the using the Separate Folders option. But the edl would not relink to them.
The Filename specification was Event#z/#s.mov
Where should I add the "C"?
Thanks.

I exported quicktimes, HD uncompressed 422. They didn't link and DS didn't seem to see any timecode when I logged them Furthermore, there were errors when I tried to capture and they would not capture...
This is in a 32bit DS so no issues of 64bit...
