Official RedUser NAB Plans

Just a couple of days away now and I'm solidifying my NAB itinerary. Anyone have any plans on a RedUser get together? I know the Red folks are going to be really busy, and we have yet to hear of anything official as far as a Red Party, but anyone else planning on getting together out there. There's going to be plenty to talk about after Monday. I'd be up for something informal.

Monday night and Thursday night work best for me. Or late night on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If anyone knows of a good bar that's not too loud and crazy where we could get some decent conversation in, that would seem like a good choice to me. I've been to Vegas before but certainly not an expert on all the places to go.

I'd say for a crowd of 8-12 people, the Artisan would be perfect. Not too far from the convention center, but not walking distance. Its a locals kind of bar, very classy joint, but not expensive.

I think this is the second time I've plugged that place on this board.. Its just that cool.

Last year, over a dozen DVInfo.net members met at the South Hall cafeteria one hour before the NAB exhibits opened.

Of course, the first place I want to be on Monday morning is booth SL5405.

What say we do it again this year? I'll be at the tables just to the right of the cafeteria main doors at or before 8am. Anybody care to join me for breakfast and a chat before hitting the Red booth?

(I posted this at DVInfo.net as well, but I thought the more the merrier. Sorry about this being my first post, but I really didn't have much to say prior to Red's official NAB announcements)

I'm flying in Sunday night about 10:00PM and staying at the Las Vegas Hilton through Tuesday (leave for L.A. Tuesday night). Will miss the Avid and Fujinon parties by then. Maybe we can all go to the same club (the kind with, you know . . .) about midnight on Monday night? Well, I'M HERE! Who wants to party? My friend's already asleep in the room. Just got in my room at the Hilton--flight was delayed. I guess I'll go downstairs and get something to eat. Then shoot some craps. Then wait all night 'til 9:00AM.
