Who said anything about NAB? Come on, we all know the whole Red thing is a product of Jim's dilusions. The poor guy is probably headed for the slot machines.

What kind of a trade in do you get for an "old" plane?

Hmmmm....

In military aviation ECM is an acronym for Electronic Counter Measures

In the electronics industry I assume ECM would be Espionage Counter Measures

Obviously the N2T is the newer plane. Here it is when it was in Wellington 2 weeks ago.

Sorry I can't be in Vegas to photograph it there.

I caught a ride and flew right seat (since my plane is down for maintenance) landing in Vegas Today at 2000 Zulu in a Golden Eagle 421 and saw no Oakley jet on the tarmack. In fact N701WH from the first photo is in Japan - check the link:

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N701WH

The jet allegedly photographed in New Zealand N2T has been removed from the public domain tracking system per the "owner's request."

Very Stealth like if I do say so myself Jim.

PS - For you aviation enthusiasts here's my flight log:

Man, Vegas is boring... particularly when you're a $25 cab ride from the strip.

Steve Gibby

Brook,

As someone who used to live in Vegas, let me give you my take on that:

The highest-stakes gambling in Vegas is a taxi ride! Seriously dude, most drivers in Vegas are reckless, but the taxi drivers are over the top. Ever been on Mr Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland? A Vegas taxi ride makes that seem like a nap in a hammock! Save the $25 and live to see NAB...

Keep your eyes on a swivel when you walk across streets too! Thousands of pedestrians get road-pizzad each year by wild-ass motorists in Vegas - many of them taxi drivers. If you do take the taxi: :help: :bye2:

I know, I know... I've been here before. Got taken for a $30 ride on a 4 mile journey last year... I'll find that guy someday...

When do you get in?

Tomorrow morning me and my wife are driving over - about 7 hours drive from the Central Coast. We used to live on the west side of the valley, in Summerlin, right below Red Rock Canyon (Hmmm..another Red connection). Being valley-wise, we're staying at a resort in Summerlin - away from The Strip. But we'll be down there each day to hang out with the RED Army - day and night!

Hey Jim, I saw the plane too last night and again this morning, parked along the road at the executive terminal. I'll snap a picture of it tomorrow morning before the Apple presentation if it's still there.

I saw what looked like a RED sticker toward the front of the plane (which, by the way, is a truly gorgeous machine.)
