I've heard over and over that the PIN I see while booting up is recorded into the meta data of the files. I'm not saying that I don't believe it, but where is it recorded? I've looked in Redcine and RedAlert and neither program seems to be able to see the PIN, I've also opened the log files in a text editor with no luck.
I then called Red and asked a few employees and they didn't seem to know.
So the question (not in accusation at all) is, where can I see the PIN information ?
I'm on a shoot that has used 3 different Red's and they've rotated them through being A camera and B camera because 1 of them was having a problem, and now I'm trying to make sure I'm positive where the footage came from.
