My concern is the focus of SLR lenses. A lens expert explained to me that even a slight movement of the SLR lenses' focus ring during filiming in 4K would screw the images since the SLR lenses are designed for one still image at a 60th of a second (mas o menos) instead of 24P images.

the 300 is a prime but the way the article was written it appears
that they're will be a set. Now whether the article let slip a prime
or just misspoke is anyones guess till monday.

I think it's a fair assumption that Red aren't going to stop at one prime of 300mm now isn't it? Whether it's at NAB that they announce it is one thing but I think we can be confident they will one day make more.
