I noticed there isnt a simple Canon mount for the RED.. i just need a simple one like the Nikon mount, no cables, connections, metal bars and adapters.. Just a simple mount for MANUAL lense control.. is there any?
I just need it to stick in a Contax adapter.

if you are talking EF, because you cant change iris manually, its all internal, you need extra electronics to control it, see the Birger mount.
If you are talking FD, there is one, just not made by Red. see here for more info http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14190

You guys keep asking for this, why don't you get a group of half a dozen of you and contact doug underdahl and get him to make you some - he knows how you just have to make it worth his while.

Yeah it's a simple device. Just buy a Canon exstension tube and you have the mount premade and then you just have to make a spacer tube for it.
