Between this example of shooting a feature on Red and David Mullen's journal I'm wondering if the ASA you use to get the great shots both these DP's are showing us is factored by your lighting budget.
David - on a stage with a lot of units available to him rates at 320
Jayson - making the best of a minimalist lighting package rates at 250
Seems a good way to help out the low end.
I'm wondering if any other DP's out there are using a package like Jayson's and rating 320 - 500.
I'd love to see some stills.
