As always running test, including migrating a Avid MC 3.0 project to MC 3.0 for Master XML export to be parsed or XSLT'ed to a readable REDCINE XML...

I am intrested in the direct QT import into AVID as well but was wondering...
understand that DNxHD 175X standalone QT can be created to be imported directly into AVID but how do I add the AVID codec to Apple Compressor for conversion???

You can find the codecs HERE (http://avidtechnology.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/avidtechnology.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=71356)

BTW. Make sure the import setting is REC 709 in Avid otherwise you won't get "Fast Import"

You will know if it's not - because the import is very slow if it's set to RGB :)

OK, all it needs is a bit of common sense and a bad nights sleep :-).... never worked with compressor interesting

just install the codec pack and you will have access to them in compressor.
make a droplet and youre all set.
make sure to change the audio to 24bit
