What happened to the 18-85 mm zoom? [Archive]

I bet they'll be automatically transfered, as this would qualify as a spec change (I'm guessing).

Weird - so do early reservation holders have to order new stuff like the prime set NOW - or will we be contacted with an option to buy early. Jim said something like: " don't worry - we will take care of the early adopters..."

Anyone know? I'm salivating over that prime set.

Hey Alex,

Well I asked the question that Jim answered and I am as unsure as you are... the primes I bet are awesome, do we reserve now or wait like you said and Jim inferred? Is the 18-85 gone now for the 18-50? Many decisions... A very exciting day nonetheless... Thanks everyone....
