I was shooting some poi pounding today. Easy set up and lighting, nothing to detailed, etc. 4K, 2:1, 23.98, RED 18-50 zoom, RED Drive. Hit record and got the huge warning with the "X" but it said:

ERROR: INTERNAL ERROR.

Hit record again to start, it said "POST". When it was finished, I hit record again and everything was fine. Never saw the error again.

Thought I'd share, never seen any posts about this yet.

Build 15 or 16? Can you please email Stuart or me the log file?

Deanan -

Just PM'ed Stuart. I'll send the log file in later when I'm back in the studio.

Newest Build 16.

You guys rock! That was a fast response. I wasn't even concerned a whole lot about this. But wanted to share what had happened.

Thanks Shawn... did you happen to shake the drive around the time when you got this error?

Not at all. Camera was mounted to the O'Connor 2060 head on top of a hi hat sitting on concrete. Stationary and still.

Sounds good.. just wanted to check to see if it was a known bug.

i got this error this weekend as well, it hung around for about 15 mins, in the end i took all the ext devices off the red, inplugged everything, sat it on front of a big cool fan for 10 mins, re-booted the white cross was still in the screen, however this time when i pressed rec the cross went and RED started to perform once again. Build 16. will post log file tonight. The error came after i changed the frame rate and format on CF card, shooting against bright white background, with Leica 23mm.

2K 2:1
50fps

very hot conditions fan set at HOT.

INTERNAL ERROR:

I hit red button and the warning takes over the screen. Stays until I hit the button again.
I have only had this happen once before. Yesterday, it happened again.
The only common factor is shooting late in the afternoon.

No problems other than the error itself. Log file sent.
