I went to look at the pricelist (http://www.red.com/pricelist.shtml)of old because I wondered if the RedArm had gone down in price. I'm sure it use to be $175 and is listed in the store as $120.

The pricelist if you click above has been updated.

Now in this News Article (http://www.red.com/news/view/78) it talks about the RedSuperGrip being used by the Birger EOS adapter, so i'm guessing the SuperGrip is a wireless remote control, is the RedMotor listed at the base of the pricelist therefore perhaps a motor driven follow focus; one that perhaps might be able to communicate with the camera?

A motor that you can programme with the MagiFocus?

I believe the super grip is simply a replacement handgrip for the redrail, with focus and iris controls embedded. Very good for handheld operation.

What I was thinking though, was given Red now have the /i lens data from Cooke, it would make sense for them to create their own motorized follow focus that could tap into this data AND use the magic focus assist built into the camera that we are yet to hear about. It would make focussing problems a thing of the past if done very well.
