Red experts,
Over the period of three weeks, I had some issues figuring out the intensity setting level of EVF that would provide "What you see is what you get" picture. I tried setting negative levels and 0, but, with no success.
Does any one know what intensity setting gives the exact lighting that's being recorded on to the Red ?
Appreciate the help.

I just shot for 3 weeks with a borrowed EVF, and experienced the same issue. Build 16 puts the monitor outputs closer to what you are shooting, but seemed to take the saturation in the EVF a little too far. There must be an adjustment I was missing.

There is a gamma setup issue wit Bets Build 16 v3.1.2 that is addressed in v3.1.5

Thanks. Upgrading now.
mpallikonda: WYSIWYG is an issue shooting RAW (which is actually great - so much control in post, and never a blown shot because of white balance issues) , but build 16 gets us much closer.

I've always made it a policy not to use Beta software in production but there is a lot of new good in V16..... just how "Beta" is it at this point... crashing issues etc????

Personally I find B16 as stable as if not more so than B15.

Sorry to go a wi bit of topic but,
How does the latest B16 change the perception of color depth and or saturation?
Does the difference it make come in post or pre LUT for the LCD and EVF and can we adjust any effects it may have on what is seen?
Also I'm still going to insist on traditional metering on set, how does B16 change former work flow in regards to ASA rating?
Got a job coming up and need to get my mind around the recent changes thanks guys.
