We're making the final arrangements for the Red bootcamp that will take place in Paris the week of July 14th.
Because of the Bastille Day it will start on tuesday the 15th. Thanks to Red and its great support we'll be fully covering all the goodies from build 16 along with complete post production support all the way up to Scratch. We're glad to announce that Assimilate is also involved in this training and we are now working on a beta version that gives great results with build 16 footage. Grading Red is become sweater everyday.
O'Connor has brought its support as well to the training so we'll get some great gear to work with. The Artemis will be quite fun to play with the Red.
We're also finishing booking the permits and we'll have great locations to cover, we'll try to put the footage on RedRelay to share it with everybody on RedUser. We are thinking of doing a blog during the training if possible to keep you guys involved and have an interesting interaction with the community.
We added a few topics to our schedule and we'll be doing some miniature work in slow motion during the week as well. The 35mm film transfer that's part of the training will be done from actual Red footage shot with the trainees in Paris and we had confirmation that we'll be screening it in the Méliès theater in Montreuil (quite a symbol) before the end of the bootcamp.
For those interested in joining this session we have a couple of spots that opened due to people getting work on the same week. But you'll have to get in touch with us ASAP as we need to take arrangements consequently.
