Hello everybody
I am working on some footage shot at 4k 2:1 resolution and I have a Kona 3 and a 1920x1080 panasonic monitor.
According to what i read on this forum, the only solution to work with this setup should be to convert all the footage to HD ProRes 422 HQ using Red Alert or Compressor
So, my questions are:
There is any solution to convert the r3d files to ProRes using Log and Transfer plugin but preserving the aspect ratio?
If I go trough compressor, will R3D metadata be preserved in the converted files? This is very important because I am going online in scratch
If I use red alert everything work fine, but using command line for batch converting seems too much complicated to me!
