In a film Archive in Argentina. Incredible! http://www.thelocal.de/12847/
Best (non personal) news all year, I'm more excited about it then when scarlet was unveiled.

Gotta admit, giant catfish are pretty interesting, but the news on Metropolis is something you don't see every 20 years.

Does this have anything to do with Jim taking a leave?

And who ever said rubber wasn't good bait? I can see a great fishing ad using that pic!

Unfortuantely, I believe the soundtrack is not complete. But, full content is most important. Now for London After Midnight, The Werewolf, Humor Risk, etc.

That was a joke. ;) The Moroder soundtrack is the one made in the eighties with songs by the likes of Bonnie Tyler and Freddie Mercury. AFAIK the original score from 1927 is readily available.
That is very cool. I recall that the version we saw in Film History class was the version that historians had cobbled together from various damaged prints over the years, as best they could, but no one knew for sure what the full original looked like. Do I have that right?

Yes you do. Historians got a good idea of it though when the original script was found. ( to the other poster) I didn't recognize the name right off, but now I realize you were joking. I simply heard elsewhere the actual audio track was missing and that the soundtrack was currently a new recording from the original music.
