Just wondered if anyone has taken Redcine for a spin and can talk about it now. Like to know more details if possible.

Had a chance to check it out today. Interface reminds me of Combustion or any of the Discreet products. Seems to do everything they claimed it would do. One nice little feature is that you can upload saved grading presets to your Red camera so you can preview your scene with color correction. Since we are talking RAW files, you are not committing to the look. Seems this would be really helpful with scenes that last over several days. You could download your footage, apply a correction and save that preset to your camera so you can see if it holds up the next day.

Gotta love the discreet charcoal look. I think everything needs the discreet charcoal look.

Looks great, very clean and intuitive interface. One question.... Why would the "Exit REDCINE" button be where it is though? Seems odd to place that right in with all the others there on the left of the main controls.

So, can we please please get a screen dump from all 4 modes?
Of course we know it's a work in progress and everything, but not being there and thinking about it is killing me..

Someone give this guy his fix - he's not going to make it without screenshots and footage :-)

I'm wondering what kind of fixes danish babies eat. Our mediterranean diet looks better.
I changed my son's napkin right now and I was just looking for new posts from people at NAB..
