View Full Version : Offline files with Audio via REDCINE?

Is it possible to get audio out of REDCINE?
Why I am asking this question is, I am planning to use REDCINE to do one touch color correction and create a offline file for edit.The sound was recorded to R3D file.
I will be shooting for 4 days, which will come upto 300-400 shots.

You coudn't do that either. Only way (as of last time I checked) is from the camera proxies

Why?
The way (AFAIK) @ the moment is to batch out the audio from the proxies in Compressor. I'm not sure if TC follows the audio, but in case, wav should be a format that handles it.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I wouldn't mind :)

You wont be getting TC for Sound. Tried all dirty tricks and atlast wants the forum help to sort it out.

look in audio section.
There is description of how to get it out from QT proxies.
TC will be there.
