Timelapse skips every 53 frames

Using 3.1.5, 4K 2.1 onto CF cards in a 25fps project.

I've set the timelapse to 1 frame per second, with a 1/2 sec shutter.

But on playback, the timelapse seems to pause every 53 frames and skip a minute or so and then resume for another 53 frames.

Also it seems to go out of record by itself.

I have put the fan onto auto in case heat was an issue but same deal.

This is using mains power.

BTW, every time I swap power I have to start, wait, unplug power and try again as the first time it always hangs on "booting". This is batteries or mains.
