I'm trying to figure out if I should keep this card around or not.

I have a Decklink HD Pro in my old G5 which doesn't get much use anymore. I wanted everyone's advice. I do everything on the Mac Pro now, the old G5 is mainly just as a slave, backing up to the LTO3A drive. I was thinking of keeping my Decklink HD Pro card around in case I would need it later when doing a DI, especially after reading the threads about that new Dreamcolor display. I haven't really given it all that much thought yet or done enough research on possibly doing it at home, but the initial buzz on the Dreamcolor seems promising (unless I'm missing something, and I hope I'm not).

Anyway, would it be worth it to keep that card, or by the time I'll be doing a DI (maybe in 6 months to a year) will there be a better card I should just put in my Mac Pro?

As I understand it the decklink/dreamcolor solution doesnt work anyway, you need a converter box in the chain there as well, correct?

Does anyone want to purchase the Decklink HD Pro from me? :turned:
