was terrible.. im sorry.
felt like I was watching a student film (but with some kid in the class who knew how to do really good cgi)
walked out right after angolina somehow sideswiped the guy into the car from the market.
went and saw journey to the center of the earth 3D instead.

I was so relieved when Jim announced that no RED footage had been used in Wanted. It meant that I could skip it. :)

I saw it the other day also... I was really disappointed. The trailer looked awesome but the film as a whole was so poor, just FX every two minutes and poor acting... James McAvoy was naff, in terms of his acting (not stunts) specially after seeing him in Atonement.

How was Journey to the center of the Earth 3D? I met with Eric the director During and NAB and viewed the 'Mine car" Clips in the NAB 3D content theater.
He was really pushing the 3D envelope!

When you walk out of a film only a few minutes into it, it's not really fair to say that you actually saw the film.
That said, it was an entirely forgettable movie that had very little to do with the source material while roughly stringing together a bunch of "cool" fx scenes.
In their defense, it would be tough to make a protagonist that the general audience can empathize with when they are an assassin who knowingly goes after the heroes of the world and when bored goes out and rapes a woman just to pass the time... but who the hell thinks that is good source material for a summer blockbuster?
It might have made for an interesting study on on a (truly) anti-hero- but it ain't audience friendly that's for sure.

Clint,
Your right... shouldnt have said i saw the whole movie.
It sucks when you go to see a movie with your old man, and one of the first scenes is some dude boinking some chick on a kitchen table. (2ce within 5 min).
im wayyyyy into assassin type films.. in fact i wish i was an assassin.
However what i saw was cheesy. Like when the fat boss lady was talking to the guy.. they did some weird student film washed out voice thing and i felt like i was sitting second row in room 213 of the arts building at some community college film program.
but anyways.. journey to the center of the earth was fun.
the last 3d film i ever saw was michael jacksons captain EO when i was like 5 at disneyland.

Angelina looks as if she could use a cheese burger in this movie.

I've only walked out on a few films
Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.. (it was ruining my fondness for the originals)
Matrix part III (just plain headache inducing crap)
U152 (damn Yanks re-writing British history for Hollywood, with crappy actors and dialogue)
Quills (I was on a first date.. not really that kind of film)
Other than that I can usually stomach a bad film so long as it's entertaining.

i can never walk out of a film, even if it's bad...i have to watch the whole thing because there has to be some pay off.

The only film I ever paid for and then bailed on was Two Girls and a Guy (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0124179/). Truly dreadful.
