Hi

Sorry if this should be in the scratch section, but my question is more about Avid. I'm working on a feature and they are shooting a lot of the footage at 50fps. The dialogue is shot at 25fps. We are trying to sync up the sound by doubling the speed of the footage in avid, but it seems to be running behind the sound. It needs to be about 207% speed to match, which seems odd. This is being done as the director likes te look of the slow motion for the reaction shots.

Anyways, some told me there might be a way to use both speedgrade and scratch at the same time to speed up the process of getting the footage into avid and possibly will get rid of the speed issue?

Is this the case? I though scratch was more for grading? Also what is speedgrade? At the moment I'm using redalert, to metacheater, to avid dnxhd 36. I'm getting about 6 times real time on a macbookpro.
