I went by the Hofbrauhaus at 6:30 and didn't see any familiar faces so I busted a move over to the ProMax shindig and got there in time to see Ted whip the crowd into a RED frenzy. Seriously though, the Leader of the Rebellion did a wonderful job setting the tone for an enjoyable night - hell, he almost kissed Val Edwards from Sony - classy though a little startling.

Since this is the off topic zone I want to give props to ProMax (who has been my vendor for 10 years) for the good food and entertainment. They had a Tina Turner impersonator act with a decent band and a couple of tasty back up singers/dancers (of course not as hot as Kelly).

Anyway, sorry I missed the REDhead rager at the Hof and the chance to meet Phil and all of you that made it.

Thanks to everyone who showed up - PHEW - what a turnout!

Special thanks to Kelly for getting so many of the RED team on deck.

And extra special thanks to everyone who chipped in. The final bill came to $876.10 including a tip of $125.41 for Brandy our charming serving whench who delivered ~ 40 litres of fine German beer and an odd assortment Bavarian food stuffs. Bizarrely we have $100 left over in the kitty even after starting again when the RED team had left. I will keep that for the next time :biggrin:

I can't help but notice and mention that someone had 'Iced Tea' which is clearly only allowed if you are pregnant. So hearty conratulations to them!

The stragglers left at around midnight and me a Nick ended up in the Aligator bar for a night cap which rounded off a most splendid evening.

well you see - i ordered a real MAN's drink = Arnold Palmer ..
they brought a ice tea & a lemonade in separate glasses ..
so i used one straw in each, drank from both at same time = a Arnold Palmer ... and no i'm not pregnant!!!! but i did just get another grand daughter recently ...

I was at the promax deal and missed you guys. Ran into Blair there and he mentioned he had been to the Hoffenbreu but did not see anyone. Oh well The promax party and about 20 drink tickets they gave me kept me from the Hoffenbreu. Hung with Brook and Evan a bit at the promax deal and it was tons of fun. I am sure us red users will have another chance to meet.
