I am working out how to light a big studio. 40 x 30m.
We will not be able to afford to gel the whole lot to daylight, and will not have the money light with hmi's. The camera is designed to shoot at 5500K. Will it be best to set the camera to 3200K, or shoot at 5500K and convert in RED CINE ?

Just my opinion:

Optically filter. 80d is good and you don't lose too much.

Using dimmed tungsten and expecting white is a not so good with Red apart from scenes with inherently lowish contrast

I personally like the 80c. It feels like the best choice for the mired shift vs light loss.
