I have noticed that when I power down RED that some of the changes I've selected in the audio menus revert back to unchecked.

For instance:

-Rec Enabled reverts to unchecked

-the two mic inputs I had checked reverted to unchecked

-and the DB of my output revert back to 32db.

Is there a way to SAVE these selections so that when I change a battery they don't revert back?

This scares me a little (although maybe there is a way) ... what other preferences are not saved upon restarted the camera? Am I going to have to go through each and every menu and double check to make sure nothing is different each time we change a battery or power down?

Which build are you on?

What you describe is not normal operation. In audio the only thing that is supposed to reset on a power cycle is the 48 V Phantom Power

Stuart : is it better to use camera phantom power for providing power to my Mics or ,disable it and use my mic Phantom power ?

I'm on build 16. About to load the newest update that was released a couple days ago.

We were not using 48 V Phantom Power, the mic was getting power from the sound guys mixer.

The only thing that changed (that I noticed) was "rec enabled" and "mic 1" , "mic 2" (they reverted to being unchecked) as well as both inputs levels reverting from 20DB (where I saved them) to 32db.
