Do you guys have any details on the upcoming Red 4k display? I've heard some rumors that one is in the pipeline...

There are indeed both 4K projectors and displays in development in addition to a "Mini RED" camera of some sort as announced by RED at NAB. At the moment though, there aren't any details available.

Yeah I heard the same thing, I just didn't know if anyone from Red would be willing to chime in on the subject.

Does anyone even make a video card capable of running such a monitor? Will RED be making cards to support their monitors?

Any current video card with 2 x dual-link DVI will drive 4K. Monitors like the IBM/ViewSonic using the (now discontinued) 3840x2400 Hitachi panel run with these cards. You can drive the Sony 4K projector with 2 x DVI-DL and appropriate splitter hardware or via two video cards, each with 2 single-link DVI ports.

That said though, I would bet we'll see the upcoming UDI interface or something of that nature on newer 4K displays. They will need to go with an interface that will pump 4~5K over a single cable. In just a few years as 4K becomes more standardized and computer power has doubled from now, you can bet that some people will be placing multiple 4K displays at their workstation / edit bay.
