It was mentioned somewhere, that the Red lenses will be made with cooke´s sensor-tech but currently has no function when used with Red One.

So at all, what will it be used for ? People always mention for moco/vfx, but that´s not plausible to me. Very, very few people will use it that way, not enough at least to justify outfitting all lenses with it. What I´m thinking is it could be something like Arri´s LDS - display, where you get direct feedback and visual representations of focal lenght, dof, focus marks etc.

Any info so far ?

I believe that is the case. And if so, that info will be great for an AC. Essentially your "marks" are on the screen as you watch the framing. That and your calculations for Depth of Field are shown to you on the fly.
