Does anybody think that the RED-RAY will have the provision for menus, like DVD (or better)? I know that that is not really required in the target demographic (ie. theatrical distribution), but still, it would be pretty cool if it were included.
If it were, probably the most important thing for me would be to have better buttons (maybe ones that could move, and not restricted to one colour), and maybe transitions between different menus - say a dissolve, or fade through black. It annoys me about current DVDs when they have animated menus, and then when you press a button, it jerks to another menu... Even if you make transitions yourself, there's often a jerk in the animation.
Or even cooler, maybe you could have menu intros with alpha channels, to play over the current menu - creating nice transitions.
