Digital Cinema Society Meeting of Interest To REDusers
There are still a few seats left for our Digital Cinema Society meeting tomorrow at Plaster City Digital Post in Hollywood on the subject of Accessorizing Your Digital Cinema Camera. From 10am-12pm we will explore what it takes, and what is available, to build a high-end Digital Cinema Camera Package. We’ll look at everything from filters, matte boxes, follow focus, handheld rigs, and Break-out Boxes.*
Manufacturers who are participating include ARRI, Schneider Optics, Zacuto, RedRock Micro, Toys4RED, and Element Technica. Vendors who are involved include Abel Cine Tech, SIM Video, and Birns and Sawyer. Attendees will also have a chance to see a very impressive large screen projection of RED Demo footage in the Plaster City Digital Screening Room. A raffle will be held to cover expenses with valuable accessories and support gear donated by the Presenters.
Raffle Prizes include:
-Element Technica: Shock-Isolated RED Drive Mount, (when available), valued at $500
-Toys4RED: $500 Gift/Discount Certificate toward purchase of their products.
-Zacuto: Zamerican Arm Kit, choice of various kits for mounting Monitors, Etc. Value $529.00
-RedRock Micro: microWhips Bundle - Set of 3 Follow Focus Wips, 3", 12", and 18". Valued at $175.00
-Birns and Sawyer: Gaffer's Glass and B&S Logo Polo Shirt. Value $100.00 *
