Didn't realize red was CMOS. That sets it appart from DALSA and Arri I believe. Good to know.

Nope. Arri is CMOS. I don't know about Dalsa but Arri is definitely CMOS. They had this exact question brought up at a seminar I went to a few weeks ago for the D-20.
