I just wanted to let the RED team know that Ted Schilowitz is doing a damn fine job out there. I've been watching video of all sorts of stuff from NAB. Most of the people appearing on camera come across as either dog tired (hardly suprising!), uninspired, uninspiring, just parroting a pre-prepared script (usually rather badly)... or any possible combination of these.
Ted has got the goods though! He's sending the RED message out to those us who couldn't make it to NAB with a clear, impassioned and informative delivery... and he looks like it's because he truly believes what he's saying, not just method acting.
Cool Ted. I can clearly see why J.J. got you board!

Being a good executive and good on camera is a rare combination...and IMO Ted nails both...

He has that "special glow", and looks like he knows exactly what he's doing and enjoying every minute of it. On every interview I saw him, plus in person at the IBC - the smile almost never left his face.
That's the positive energy I would like around me if I was gathering a crew....
Oh yeah...there's some expertise there, too. ;)

Ted is definitely a class act, it was great to finally meet him.
And Gibby, It was great to finally meet the man behind the posts, I enjoyed speaking with you briefly and look forward to our next meeting.

I was going to post a similar thread about Ted. A Red Ted thread, I suppose. He's got a such a great presence--he instills confidence and excitement, somehow--and when he talks about something, it all seems so self evident--makes me want to go buy a Red (in fact, I'll get two!).
Red will sell itself, so Jim didn't need to put such a great face on the cameras, but man, you're spreadin the love around! Great job, Ted, and thanks for making us so proud.
