I had seen this quote in the past but was recently reminded of it by a 37Signals post. (http://www.37signals.com/svn/posts/373-chicago-summer-olympics-in-2016) (I've since printed it out and stuck it in plain sight to serve as a daily reminder.) Of course, I thought it was especially fitting for RED – and in particular for those behind RED's remarkable development.

So thanks, not only for helping turn high-quality film production completely upside-down but also for the damn fine example of going for it with all you've got.

On an NAB show floor full of people slinging this years widget, it is a breath of fresh air to be involved with a group of people and a disruptive technology that is about something more. Thanks for sharing that quote.

Guess Who is a CHINESE architect to build " BANK of CHINA " in HKG ?

I likes talking to architects and they know the root of " Foundation " in many layers to build up something to last forever.

I've never seen sketches or photos of the buildings that Daniel Burnham designed, but with the attitude he expressed in that quote, I'd imagine they were big, beautiful, and state-of-the-art for his era.

Attitude + aptitude = unlocked potential

"Make no little plans" and "Think big" - timeless quotes as applicable now as they were then.
