Color Classes?

Anybody know if Apple will offer some classes on Color? Looks complicated but fun.

They will - but right now their course schedules are just full of "training the trainers" classes as they bring folks up to speed on the new features in FCP Studio. For now, I would look for any training materials on "Final Touch" as that's who originally made "Color."

I'm sure you can count on a book in the Apple Pro Training Series being released sometime toward the end of the year.

I took the Color demo "class" at NAB where they walked you through the grading of a music video. After 30 minutes, I walked out thinking that it was very easy to use and that most people would be able to pick and grade their projects without too much effort from a technical standpoint. It chugged a bit on the laptops though and I would think you would need a powerful system to do anything significant.

It is Final Touch, just updated. I worked with it daily for about 6-9 months last year. If they don't offer it toot sweet, I will.
