Avid announced DS version 10 on 08/20 in Hollywood:

What is really significant as far as RED workflow goes is that there is an AFE support for DPX file conforms through MetaFuze. This means that all of the typical effects a feature film editor may use like flops, blow ups, etc. will translate from Media Composer to DS. More complex effects translate as well, but of course any more complex work will probably be more of a placeholder that needs to be manually adjusted in DS.
There are also real time 2k effects (not to mention playback) and primary and a very good secondary color corrector, all real time. Sony 1080 59.94/60p output is now available too.
