Hi RED Team, Jim, Jarred etc,
I'm in the process, as others of this site may be, of prepping some headlines for my soon to be published web site. As such I would like to use that launch as a vehicle to promote my move to RED. I would love to be able to include some images of RED and or other items which have been posted about the camera and from the sensor.

Just wondering if you could make available a folder of images which you would allow as a pool to draw from for such promotional usage. I would prefer to be able to use any image of Spike and also the Rez chart showing the varying formats and corresponding resolutions.

Cheers in advance,
Mark.

P.S If you guys decide to make this available it would potentially be prudent to post as a sticky message - RED IMAGES FOR PROMOTIONAL USE - at least that way you should be able to control what you want to be used to promote RED.

OK then,
So do we just steer people to www.red.com and tell them to go discover about the camera on their own, even if they are completely lost when it comes to understanding RED, or is someone gonna address this topic?

Just thought it would have been polite to ask for permission to use images of the Camera etc.

Cheers,
Mark.

I have a similar request. Just like Movie credits say "filmmed in Panavision" with their logo. I'd like to put on my DVD box cover "Shot in 4k." RED Logo.

Is that a possibility?

Hey great point Greg, are we gonna need some kind of licensing agreement to be able to use any RED related logo's images etc in promotional and commercial packaging of our products?

All this stuff needs to be addressed at some point I guess.

Cheers,
Mark.

Hopefully it wouldn't be a licensing issue. Does anyone know what the agreements usually are with Panavision or Arri, not to mention Fuji or Kodak. I would suspect that it's a matter of courtesy that there used at all.

As a P.S., the Red team has stated that they are releasing images as fast as they become ready. Keep in mind that this camera is still in development. Also it's a very rare thing for a company to release anything during development.
