Less than a week separates us from September, time our bath to start shipping, and we all have seen the RED team work hard and stick to the schedule nicely. Well done!!!!

I believe there are a few folks who have email clients that:
- lack of CSS support in their email client
- requiring that all CSS uses Inline Styles
- improperly decodes "Quoted-printable" encoded HTML email

If anyone specifically has issues, you can email or PM me or your Bomb Squad rep and we can send you a PDF of your "Nearly Ready to Ship" message.

For future versions, we'll add a plain text section to the top of the message and make the message viewable directly online for those unfortunate enough to use email clients or servers that don't properly handle such messages.

For any email geeks on reduser, the emails go out as a typical "multipart/alternative" message with a utf-8 encoded, "Quoted-printable" text/html content block.

For comparison, Apple email blasts are also typical "multipart/alternative" emails, but they first contain a nice text block, followed by an ISO-8859-1 encoded "quoted-printable" text/html content block.

Well I've been holding back celebrating as I ponder some recent losses in equity. But the future looks bright....

I believe we get bumped up on the 22nd, which is today! We get the new soundboards (audio); we get 'the goods' right out of the box, with a fantastic build 17 right around the corner. What a great time to get a cam!

Post, I hope, tries and succeeds to keep pace with aquisition (3rd party-crasher-like).... Congrats to all new owners! Post pics and enjoy yourselves!!

I wish that Norwegian broadcasters paid that sort of money for documentaries... No, this project is more of a love-child than a commercial production.

In early November we've been offered a unique possibility to film for a week in a very special location (sorry that I have to be so vague), and renting a One for 10 days would just not be financially feasible.

I feel for you. I'm in similar situation, just have to see if it works out. I am going to a very special location for a love-child documentary trailer too, it was all planned to be on DV/HDV BAH!!!!!. Trip has been delayed and now there is a chance I can take my RED. We'll see.

I received an email with drive info, guess what, ready to ship!
Awesome... although I must say we made some tests with 2451 yesterday an something weird happened, we heard the audio on headphones but when downloaded to the computer it was at a very low level. Crazy because some of the files were fine but most of them were screwed. So I suggest once you have your camera do some tests and verify everything before you go to a shoot.
