RedAlert crash when rendering to QT

So I am having a problem rendering to Quicktime in both RedAlert and RedCine. In RedAlert it just crashed when I try to render to any codec in Qt. In RedCine it tells me it fails to render to clip as it renders. I am on a MBP 2.4 intel with a 256 mb Video card.

Is anyone else having this problem. I can render to TIFF with both problems without a problem. Why is QT and Red programs not being friends?

Which version of QT? 7.5 works fine here.

Ya same as you 7.5 pro. I'll telling you I am clueless to what the hell is going on with Red software and QT. It would suck if I have no option but to render to TIFF.

Do a clean install. It should work!
