Offhollywood starts 7th RED feature film -

Okay, three more to go to hit our goal by years end!

Saturday our 6th "all RED" independent feature film SPLINTERHEADS wraps - but tomorrow principal photography starts on AS GOOD AS DEAD.

The character driven thriller stars Andie Macdowell, Cary Elwes, Matt Dallas, Nicole Ansari and Brian Cox.

Avi Lerner is exec. producing with NU IMAGE handling distribution.

We actually shot sequences from this film earlier in the year due to complex actor schedules, then the production got stalled when a significant portion of financing fell through - but the producers managed to get it all back together.

Is the company's participation largely one of providing camera rental and expertise and Red post services?

In this specific context, I mean that we have provided Red cameras, technical support and post production as a complete package.

3 of these 7 feature films we do have a financial interest in - and were involved in the financing.



Is Offhollywood a production company for hire? Is the company's participation largely one of providing camera rental and expertise and Red post services?

We ARE a production company for hire.
We do develop, produce and co-produce feature films.
We rent Red cameras and provide our own (staff) Union (local 600) DIT or non-union DITs.
We do provide post production services to companies and individuals who own their own cameras or rent them elsewhere.
We do a tremendous amount of R&D, alpha and beta testing for many companies - hardware and software. (currently we are testing 8 different software applications that are in pre-release - and three hardware products)



In a word, what exactly does Offhollywood do? Just curious, you never know....

FACILITATE

We create content, and we provide services and technology based solutions for companies that create content.
