Noob question here, but if I'm going to be working in After Effects with RED footage - doing some minor color correction and title compositing, etc - what color profile should I be working in, and rendering out to?
Is it based on the RED format for conform, or is it based on the final delivery format, ie. film stock or digital projection?
Also, I know the new plugin to work with .r3d files is on its way, but if that never happened, would I just convert to .dpx for import, and render out to .dpx as well?
Thx in adv, and forgive the noobness.

EDIT: OK, after further searching on these forums, and realizing how embarrassingly vague this post was, lemme rephrase:
Working on a very indy job, and I have yet to confirm what the final delivery is going to be, either film out, or digital format, or both. I have a day for night shot, with some minor compositing, and possible set extensions, as well as an involved main title composite over footage.
If I were to import the footage into AECS3 as .dpx files, working in 32bit float, with the intent on passing on to SCRATCH, for final CC/conform, etc.,
1) what would the typical color profile setting be?
2) would I just render back out to .dpx format? And are there any 'gotcha' settings I should look out for in doing this?
Any advice is appreciated. I love these forums, and I'm enjoying researching this new (to me) workflow.
Thanks.
