I've just imported a feature into FCP. Everything was shot in 4k, and we used Compressor on the H proxies to make 2K ProRes files. They load into Final Cut well, and the image is solid.

I'm having a problem with the audio. Although I've set my sequences to conform with the clip settings, I still have to render audio. Video comes in fine. Although the audio takes seconds to render out, having to render for every cut in the film would be a pain. Any ideas as to why this might have happened, and how I can set the sequence to avoid rendering?

Thanks!
Adam

It sounds like your project (not sequence) audio settings are different from the clips. If you match them up you should not have to render, worth a try.
